This is the bit that most people probably don't bother to read anyway, but I guess I should say something about me, so here goes...

I'm a UK photographer based in the north of England who's been shooting for a few years now. I started doing motor-sport and landscape but have now moved into shooting models and in particular art nude.

My passion is to shoot out on location and I have done numerous shoots at various locations including derelict factories, an abandoned church, castles, streams & waterfalls, quarries, fields and woods and also beaches.

I do shoot glamour but my preference is art nude, I love to create something that will make the viewer think.

I love to work with creative models, ones who like to experiment even if it's to try out the unusual and wacky.

I work with both amateur and professional models but I'm more interested in their attitude and creativity rather than how long they've been modelling or whether they do it for a living.

Whilst I prefer to be out on location, I also work indoors and have a small workshop studio with lighting and backdrops, very useful when the weather lets me down :)

I’m always looking for models who would like to work with me and maybe collaborate on ideas. In return I will provide images from every shoot and promise to keep you supplied with cookies and drinks.

I am in no way a technophobe or even living in the past, after all I did obtain a BSc in Information Technology 5 years ago, plus I spend much of my time (probably too much) on my computer.

However what I am getting fed up with is the constant use of # and joining words together. Why is it that when someone has a comment to make they have to insist on creating one long word proceeded by #.

Don't get me wrong I am aware of Twitter and how popular it is but really does it have to spill over into everything else a person writes. Recent examples of my friends posts include #chillinginfrontofTV #niceglassofwineinhand #weekendishere

As for Twitter!!! Why is it necessary to follow every banal comment that some celebrity makes (or rather their P.A.) Some of you may be aware of the classic Monty Python film "Life of Brian" if you haven't seen it then go find a copy.

Basically for the unenlightened it was set in biblical times and Brian was mistaken for the messiah. He was followed around by an ever increasing band of people who studied his every word which they took as some divine preaching. But as Brian's mother pointed out "He's not the messiah, he's just a very naughty boy"

Well we arrive in the 21st century and here we are with all these twitter disciples following their messiahs and waiting for every nugget they type. Is it just me or is the world just full of sheep living their life waiting for someone they have never met or are likely to meet to issue another banal inane comment on their life…..what they have just eaten, the fact it is raining, they are stuck in traffic….the list goes on.

Please stop this obsession with hashtags and live your own life, don't just follow others.

Hmmmm, I've just realised I'm turning into a grumpy old man already….arggggh :D

Thanks as always

Wise words

Every Lousy Monday Morning Heathrow jets goes crashing over my home,
Ten O'clock Broadmoor siren driving me mad won't leave me alone,
The woman next store just sits and stares outside,
She hasn't come out once ever since her husband died,

This is the Sound,
This is the Sound of the Suburbs

You're welcome, I do envy people who can write creatively, paint or draw as I'm no good at any. I have to rely on technology (camera) to create my art.

I believe in that picture I was going 85 MPH (136.794KPH). That was as high as I could get the cruise control to work. ;)
